. . . "bump" . . . just makes me think of us and Nibiru.

It looks like everyone is assuming Nibiru is going to do the same thing everytime she comes through here. Maybenot this time, and whynot, whatis to stop it from learning a few new tricks ?

Re: A Winter ecord breaker of all record breakers
This may sound ridiculous but my father who's been a woodsman all his life said he's never seen squirrels bury so many nuts and acorns directly below their nest. I guess they spread them out over a larger area in case an area gets found out. He said when they place them right below their nesting tree we're in for one hard winter. Take that for what you will.

I would take good anecdotal from people like your father any day over anything from the teevee...

we can learn a lot from watching animals and nature...we have lost touch.

thanks for posting that

don't panic, you're on the right time table

you are far ahead of most, just perhaps slightly behind your own very prepared timetable

make sure you have plenty fo wood to burn and share

wood, wool, warm water....its actually easier to stay warm in cold places than to cool off in hot places if the power goes out

I can't tell you why I kept thinking all last summer were would soon have a deal breaker of a winter

again, perhaps it will be nothing, but it never hurts to be prepared, and all of this will keep (and almost never gets cheaper, so why not buy now?)

Our squirrels have been very busy for quite sometime. We had some snow this weekend with freezing temps. It is going to be a real long winter if this keeps up. My huge concern is because of the drought the deer are looking real thin. There just wasn't enough food for the wild life. I watch twin fawns strip my lilac bush last week. I didn't bother to chase them off, you could see their ribs.

Magma getting closer to the surface, North Atlantic current dead, sun hotter than ever, all points to ALL seasons being warmer (here in North America).

I have a squirrel who is crossing the road into the corn field, grabbing giant cobs of cattle corn bigger than he can carry and hauling them back across the road,
he is working so hard. Makes you wonder.

Re: A Winter ecord breaker of all record breakers
. . . this could be a warning about the weather, but it hit me tonight, at dusk. I was outside and it felt like it does during a full moon; i looked up and saw itwas only about three quarters full.

At this time of the year it can get quite cold during a full moon, but the fact that itis already feeling like a full moon (at night), i suspect we best be ready for a real shocker when the moon does become full, and November, and i donot even want to think about the December fullmoon, not to dare mention January . . .

Late during Summer, I made arrangements, for some strange reason, to move out of my upstairs bedroom; into a warm, tight little room off the kitchen for the Winter . . . an animal, out of instinct, would do something like that . . . It was a terrible move with heavy stuff being moved in and out of rooms and up and down staires . . . i never did such a crazy thing in my life before. So i think iam making a prediction of the worse/coldest Winter wehave ever had (a record breaker of all record breakers).
