OP, what about NGC 2535 and NGC 2536 or perhaps Delta Cancrids. Is there any connection?

The meteor shower associated with Cancer is called Delta Cancrids and lasts from December 14 to February 14. The main shower occurrs between January 1 to January 24, and the peak of the shower falls on January 17.
