what med should i take if i am forced to take one and had a choice?

I am on abilify, it's the best one I've taken so far.

but what do you need to take meds for? Abilify is good for bipolar if you need the antipsychotic, but if you don't need that, you definitely want to look into something else. if you are just bipolar, you might want to try just a mood stabilizer without the antipsychotic.

Unless you are in a mental institution or under court order, I'd tell them all to fuck off and just smoke a little herb when feeling sad. That seems perfectly sane to me, instead of pumping your mind full of shit, for a condition they don't know the cause of, prescribed by a clueless idiot (some shrink that only cares about drug company kickbacks and not your long-term health).
