Quoting: ~Angels~ So I can't sleep... post something...whatever...dosen't matter... Ok. I just went outside to smoke and saw a cat that at first I thought was one of mine that somehow slipped past me and got outside. I watched the cat for a few moments, and then realized that since my cat would never just go out into the open lawn and sit down like he owned the place, it must not be him. He has never been outside here, so there's no way he could be so calm out there. The cat did look a lot like him though. It's strange that I have never noticed that particular cat around here before. Great story huh. The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank." The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects. The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard. The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass. |
