Ok, here's my little story for today.

I finally dragged myself out of bed. Really I didn't even want to get up. I was thinking that I should just lay around all day. But, against my better judgement I got up.

After doing a few chores and firing my computer up, I made myself a cup of old coffee and went to get out my little blue pill.

I broke it in half, as I usually do, but this time inexplicably one half of the pill shot out of my hand and slipped between the crack between the counter and the stove.

I mumbled 'shit'. I thought, well it's going to be one of those days. I started wondering what kind of tools I could use to retrieve the half a pill.

A coat hanger? Shit, we don't have any wire coat hangers. I thought about just leaving it down there, but I decided...no no. Don't just walk away. Let's struggle against this shitty day and embrace the frustration of fighting through this stupid bullshit.

Before I went off to search for a tool that could fit in the small crack...that was thin enough and long enough...I decided to take a closer look at the problem.

I bent down and then there it was. The half a blue pill was sitting there just an inch from the crack at the bottom.

I was able to fish it out with m finger on the first attempt.

I then thought. Hmmm. Maybe this isn't going to be one of those days. I blew the cathair and dust off of the half a pill and it flew out of my hand and into the other one in a moment of inaccessibility. I put it back into the bottle.

Two for two. Everything's looking up.;)
