What's the big deal? They experiment on all of us. I remember while in the military being taken to a field in FRG and told to don MOPP4 and watching a white translucent gelatinous goo being spewed out of an aircraft above. It stuck on the tree and grass. Never noticed any ill effects. It was Probably just an early form of silly string. Besides four hours laying in a nice green field in Germany catching a nap is good sham time.

And how! Nothing wrong with a bit of human experimentation, why we use it on brave men and women all the time here at Aperture Science.

It's not often that DOCUMENTED proof of aerial spraying of civilians is unveiled.

And the experiments were/are worldwide.
In 1951, many the habitants of a little town called "Pont Saint Esprit" get sick, with psychotic episodes.
It has long been supposed, even if some facts weren't totally consistent with this explanation, that it was an outbreak of ergotism.
According to Hank P. Albarelli Jr in the book "a terrible mistake" in 2009, this was in fact a secret operation of CIA under the MKULTRA program. Some official declassified documents seem to accredit this version.

I highly doubt that.

I for one do not want to be part of their experiments.

This just confirms much to me.

Wow. It's almost genocide if they were spraying Pruitt Igo which was mostly all Black. I wonder if anyone died from it. My question is why wasn't there a follow up if this was an experiment. It sound like they just intended to harm people not really find out what the results would be. Maybe they already knew what the results would be.

People still won't believe, and it doesn't take much to imagine what is going on today--

Spraying, but think of 4G, and every home having WiFi to support their new tablets and such.....

Everyone being sucked into having a cell phone on them 24/7 that can be turned on remotely.....

And the technology to monitor and assimilate all this information. (and control)

They must laugh when stuff like this comes out from so long ago, while people are trying to figure out what the government was up to 6 years ago, which they never will (too much was not made public)

Any information or technology we get is so outdated....just keeps us busy as the plans move forward and we just wait in long lines to be the first to own the new technology that is controlling us.

I wish the news clip had at least one person who had lived in the apartment complex--bet they are all dead. (by now)

My Mom grew up in that area in the 50s. I always suspected something like this must have been going on. My grandmother, my mother and my uncle all died of cancer in the 80s. And not just one type of cancer either. They all died of multiple types of cancer. My grandmother had brain cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer and at least two or 3 others that I can't remember. Mom had ovarian, cervical, liver and lung cancer. No one in our family had ever had cancer before that. I was born in the 60s and ha thyroid cancer last year. I wonder, how many other people living in that area died of multiple types of cancer?

Well they were still doing the above ground nuclear test then. I read all us baby boomers across the US are supposed to have a bit of Strontium-90 in us. I would guess a few probably suffered some ill effects from it all.

Lisa, I can't imagine how angry this must make you--I'd be very upset. I'm sure some law firm will start a class action law suit for victims of this assault on innocent americans--keep searching--they really shouldn't get away with this kind of thing.

And I am truly sorry this happened to your family.

Re: >> Army's secret Cold War experiments on St. Louis residents (video)
Thank you for your kind words Stillhere. I am very angry. I was only 17 when my mom died but I had a younger brother and sister and it was much harder on them. My dad went a little nuts after she died and was killed in a traffic accident almost 6 months to the day after mom died. My poor brother was only 12 and lost both parents in 6 months time. Had my mom not been sick, my father would not have been on the road traveling and they might both still be here today. We all (the kids) turned out ok but it wa a lot to handle. My poor little brother is now a decorated chief in the Navy and has a beautiful family. I only say this because I'm my looking for sympathy. We went through some rough times but we came out of it stronger. That being said, if studies were to link their deaths to these horrible experiments, I don't want money, I want to watch some sick asshole suffer the way my family did.
