F 22 over central NJ

I saw it too and I live in Central Jersey. I'm not used to any real air traffic in my area, so this was extremely weird to see.

I thought I saw one earlier today in Northern Virginia. They have a distinctive flight angle. Only caught a glimpse before trees shielded my view but it was heading northbound.

just looking for muslim saboteurs that are lurking around everywhere.

yeah saw it too. That type of aircraft would only be around for a specific reason no way it was out for a joy ride. Maybe others will respond with sightings elswhere.

Caught the same thing...And about 20 min later a helicopter flying close to tree tops making a bee-line for the Hillsborough, Central Jersey Regional. They never fly that low. Plus they usually fly over the river.

Saw it, too (am also in Central Jersey). We see planes all the time since we're in the EWR path as well, and near Maguire AFB, but the military traffic has been insane lately.

Boyfriend and I saw what we think was a similar plane (if not another F 22) last night around dusk. Kinda creepy since we never get those 'round these parts..

I took a picture of it in the near distance (not directly overhead). Was hoping it would fly back over the house but no such luck. If I figure out how to post pictures here I'll post it.

F-15's here, portland oregon, all the time lately...
keep in mind that the jets scramble radar on other planes so you may see cessation of 'normal' airflight patterns when these show up...or they go very low under the radar....i use the flight tracking system to monitor local airport activity.

usually the flight tracker is working fine but for example, day before yesterday the skies were very quiet all morning, unusual, and the flight tracker showed planes leaving but not going anywhere, glitching? i doubt it...so then what?

they don't show the jets taking off tho, our f-15's come out of pdx airport.

have you seen any of those massive military helicopters, with the multiple radar arrays on top? they fly very heavy. loud. have had several here over the last few days.

I've seen the normal amounts of commercial flights, but the military uptick is a little worrisome. Have lived in this house my entire life, and am used to what's going on in the sky.. it's just be odd as of late. A lot of heavy cargo planes, jets, etc. I know a lot of the time they run military training exercises, but this ain't no training.

I don't care what anybody says, this is exactly how GLP works and works well. Keep each in the loop and keep everyone aware of what you see around you. It does not have to be doom, just sharing intel, you know, like the big boys do.
