It's my understanding that they'll never in a million years allow Gary Johnson into the debates even if he were polling at 50%. And then the votes for him would end up uncounted.
 Quoting: jcab2002

From what I understand, he's on the ballot in all 50 states and votes cast for him *will* be counted towards him. If the (R) and (D) factions are able to prevent his votes from counting, then Revolution v.2 will begin.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1055574

Sure, right. Just like Ron Paul votes were counted.
 Quoting: jcab2002

I'm not going to vote against my conscience no matter how much people beg me to. It just isn't going to happen. It's really that simple.

I don't agree with Romney or Obama, I DO agree with Gary Johnson (95% to be exact ( [link to www.isidewith.com] Why would I vote for anyone else? Unless of course I wanted to "waste" my vote...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1055574

I'm not arguing to vote for Romney or Obama. I'm just a cynic when it comes to Gary Johnson being treated fairly in any way. I'm not voting until it's all over and we start new.

People need to support Romney. He isn't that bad.

There is a lot of conspiracy crap and nonsense directed at him on here, the idea he is somehow owned by the NWO, it's all garbage. No facts. No basis for it.
 Quoting: Super Bowl Dave

He has never supported anything but himself. He's flip-flopped to whatever is convenient at the time. If you don't think he'll be corrupted even if he wasn't now, you're pretty naive. Someone with no conviction on anything isn't all of a sudden going to find it in the White House.

It is unbelievable the audacity of the GOP. They call us crazy, they alienate us, they will not seat us at the convention, the grievances are to many to count and then they think we are going to vote for their guy.

Someone already said it but FUCK YOU GOP!!!!

The DNC is equally culpable, this upper elite having there way must end.

Vote third party, and let the chips fall where they may. An avalanche is coming to Washington, they have a vote of no confidence from most Americans

This federal debacle is hopefully going to lead to a greater America, one which enable representation and a humble foreign policy, and a free market system for monetary policy.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7272394

I'm sure the GOP appreciated how Paul supporters gamed the system and tried to crash the party.

Fact is, Ron Paul didn't get enough votes, period. Not even close. I wish he had, but he didn't. So it's over.

It's no surprise the GOP was pissed off and sick of the RP people making a scene.

They wouldn't accept that he lost -- and not only did he lose, he didn't "win" a single state by vote count.
 Quoting: Super Bowl Dave

However, Ron Paul DID get enough votes to have a brokered convention, which would have required his issues to be debated on whether they were to be a part of the republican platform.

You are completely wrong about him losing. Popular vote counts DO NOT MATTER in a Republic. Only delegate votes count. Ron Paul more than likely won 7 states and was completely held out of the convention. He would have won more if they correctly called the votes early - like in Iowa and Maine. He would have had momentum and people would have more likely voted for him following that. But the mainstream media refused to cover any of it and there was outright fraud going on at every fucking level. There are thousands of witnesses who can describe it for you, but I doubt you care since you're already a Romney robot who can't take more than 30 seconds to read a headline printed by mainstream media.

Hmm, you may have a point. So you're saying they could have kept Romney from getting the requisite votes?

But at the end of the day, the Sheep didn't show up and vote for him. I did, of course. The Sheep had a chance to vote for Ron Paul 50 times and they did so in very small, almost trifling numbers -- then a few die hards went to the conventions and got delegate spots.
 Quoting: Super Bowl Dave

There were many places where people did show up to vote for Ron Paul and then their county withheld votes or changed the votes to go to someone else. This was early. They couldn't risk allowing Ron Paul to have a single victory called by the mainstream media even though he ended up winning 7 states after the fact. Mainstream media never announced one of those victories. That kept him from getting any momentum whatsoever. Because you know damn well that people are afraid of their vote "not counting", so Ron Paul didn't get any votes from anyone except the diehard Ron Paul people.

Yeah they really treated Ron Paul and his delegates like shit from the very beginning. I can't support that bullshit.

Also I just don't see Romney doing one single tiny thing to dismantle the Federal edifice or disentangle it one tiny way from the clutches of big pharma/agra/military contractor corruption.

I did think of voting Obama for spite, because I really don't think he wants another 4 years on a personal level. I think he wants to party. In some ways I wouldn't mind him winning another term because it's like a sentence to him, in my opinion. Also when things go pear shaped I wouldn't mind if it fell on his watch.

BUT I will vote third party.

If ANYONE votes for either candidate, you are voting and advocating EVIL, FACT. BOTH are puppets for the NWO, BOTH candidates support the NDAA, endless wars, The Patriot Act, socialized healthcare, The FED, etc.. The 2 party system is CORRUPT and BROKEN, do NOT VOTE, DO NOT COMPLY. I think if Obama gets re SELECTED, not elected, this country is OVER, so what to do? Romney would slow this collapse now, maybe start WW3, so either way we are screwed. One difference is, Romney is not a marxist, fascist, communist, he doesn't hate America and its people. He wasn't born just for this role, he absolutely wants to DESTROY THIS NATION and everything in it. If and when Romney loses, the Ron Paul people will be blamed, we already are deemed terrorists, so what do you think will happen when the corporate bought media starts to blame us for Obama's re election? This is the plan, to get 50% or more of the sheep to hate us, to turn on us, then the anti american rhetoric will be started, its coming people. Either don't vote or vote your conscience. GET PREPARED, BC the collapse is coming, financial time bomb is very close to going off. Get right with God and pray for this country and its people

What they fail to realize is many RP supporters weren't GOP to begin with. We were willing to hold our noses and vote GOP for Ron and Ron alone. Gary Johnson for me. I won't vote for Obama because my vote won't be wasted on someone I detest. But the sad thing? We all know it's rigged anyway. It's already decided. It's not an election, it's a selection. Either Romney or Obama, I didn't and won't vote for that even though I know it doesn't matter in the least.

I agree, I liked RP but since that is not going to happen why just let Obama from Kenya win again.
He hasn't done that much good in the years he has been there.
Romney may not be that great either but to support America we need to support big business so they can hire all us poor folk back to work.

Dem's have always despised big business, that's why so many of them are always looking for hand outs. They don;t want to work unless they can ALL be top paid CEO's and that is quite impossible and it is a pipe dream so they don't work and go on public support systems.

When Ross Perot ran as a third-party candidate, he took just enough votes to guarantee a Bill Clinton presidency. Today, the Ron Paul supporters who refuse to vote for Mitt Romney because he’s not “pure” enough may well guarantee an Obama re-election.

Today’s polling tells us that the election is going to be close. While one can interpret the polling data and the sampling methods to show a variety of results, there can be no disputing that the outcome is far from pre-determined and decided.

Given that reality, the votes of that contingent of rabid Ron Paul supporters are quite capable of being a deciding factor of the outcome of November’s contest. So Ron Paul’s supporters must ask themselves a number of questions:

Is the “principle” involved in casting a libertarian vote versus a vote for Romney worth another four years of Obama? How would an Obama re-election affect the liberties and constitutional republic you hold so dear? Can America, as you know it, survive an Obama second term? Is a Romney presidency a worse eventuality than an Obama re-election?

If one performs an honest analysis and assessment, libertarian principles will be further set back if Obama is granted another term to pursue his agenda. While Romney may not push forward the libertarian agenda as far, fast or forcefully as a Ron Paul… is it better to guarantee the election of one who would move it backwards?

Even 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate Wayne Allyn Root has recognized that the best hope for an America protective of the constitution and our liberty is currently Mitt Romney!
