| --Voltaic-- User ID: 1405546 09/25/2012 08:00 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our modern calendar could be off a year due to misinterpritation of zero or the offset of the leap year event. The Earth orbit is 365.256363 days. Every 4 years we compensate the 0.25, which leaves a trailing 0.006363 offset per year, collective. At that rate we need to have another special leap day every 157 years. After 57,362 years the calendar is off by 1 year, if not corrected for. Do your absolute best and the rest is fate. |
| --Voltaic-- User ID: 1405546 09/25/2012 08:08 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What I want to address is the other effects we might see. - The reflecting color may be different then our typical ambient hue of moon light. At that intensity, our night skies may be green, yellow, red or orange...or whiter. - When the Moon is near the Comet, which it will be eventually, can we expect near twilight conditions? - Will we come near the dust trail and could it create a new yearly meteor shower? Due to the creating comet passing by, the meteor shower activity will be REALLY high, if we pass through it. Historical would be an under statement. - How will this effect biology that use lunar light oscillation over 28 days? - Then there is social effects. Religions would be in over drive. Entire societies may "awaken" from deep spiritual inspiration. In short, many subtle changes can alter our history. Do your absolute best and the rest is fate. |

To intermingle and show them how To live and love and thus endow The children with the second sight. A natural thing so that they might Grow graceful, humble and when they do The Golden Age will start anew." ET !! |

Exempt the hundreds, eg. 1900 and 2000 were no leap years. And there are leap seconds from time to time. . If the Moon is off, if Earth wobbles or if there is a pole shift how can things like this, predicted decades ago, happen? ![]() Annular Solar Eclipse - January 15, 2010 - Rameshwaram, India |
| Hydra User ID: 24417095 09/25/2012 09:45 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | - The reflecting color may be different then our typical ambient hue of moon light. At that intensity, our night skies may be green, yellow, red or orange...or whiter. Quoting: --Voltaic-- Color depends on the composition of the gaseous components - most likely it will be greenish or bluish. - When the Moon is near the Comet, which it will be eventually, can we expect near twilight conditions? Quoting: --Voltaic-- The peek brightness of presumable Mag -13 you get only for about one hour at perihelion. Three days before and after perihelion it's only Mag -1.5 and during all the time around perihelion it's close to the sun, visible in the evening respectively morning twilight only. The moon is in its third quarter at that time and far away. - Will we come near the dust trail and could it create a new yearly meteor shower? Due to the creating comet passing by, the meteor shower activity will be REALLY high, if we pass through it. Historical would be an under statement. Quoting: --Voltaic-- Earth will not pass through the dust trail. The comet is about 40 million km above and 50 million km in front of Earth at closest approach. Since no extra light during nighttime, no effects. - Then there is social effects. Religions would be in over drive. Entire societies may "awaken" from deep spiritual inspiration. In short, many subtle changes can alter our history. Quoting: --Voltaic-- Yes, I fear the doomsday-tards will go postal. .
