translation:
Watch, which was announced on 17 child Temple Osaka, it is Honehone clock. I watch characters like Mr. hesitantly say that it is perfectly honehone figures.
Because it does not only make animations in only one direction that 1 → 2 → 3 · · · 9 → 0, when it comes to 00 seconds from 59 seconds, and when it comes to 00 hours from the time it is 24 points. Was small, I had to blog part I guess, and ... cute, or kana.

must be some sort of cartoon in japan called "honehone"?

i found something on this clock:

"When it comes to innovative clocks, the Hone Hone clock is the first one I’ve seen that is both awesome and possible to understand at a glance. You can probably kind of tell from the image, but the way it works is that the figure in the mask there contorts itself to form the shape of the numbers as they tick by, resulting in a weird sort of dance that is as mesmerizing as it is legible. Hop over to the site proper to check it out. Also, there’s a fun little bug exploit. If you load up the page in a new tab, switch away from it, and go back a little bit later, they dancers will speed up for a bit to try and catch up to where they should be. At least they do in Google Chrome, for me. It’s pretty awesome though. You should at least try it."

Re: wtf is this clock?
That is very cool. And relaxing.

When I clicked on "hone hone clock" in the lower left it takes you to a site that belongs I believe the person that created it. There are two links that I think can be used to copy the hone hone clock to blogs and such. There are tons of comments there, but not in English except for a few.
