But these people for thousands and thousands of years have been yelled down by idiots throughout time. Baboons come in ALL colors and shapes. The advanced peoples come in all shapes and colors also. Many people in all groups want to live like racist fools. But there is a tiny percentage in all groups that want to go beyond it. They are rare on the one hand but they also live in all groups on the other hand. Cultural integrity within a reasoned lifestyle simply adds to the vastness of humanity. So to at once revel in the wonder of Arabia's contribution to mankind whilst rejecting the primitive misogynistic feudalism of Islam is acknowledging that cultures contribution. Similarly, to on the one hand recognise the place enjoyed by Crazy Horse's culture in the vastness of colonised America whilst rejecting its tribal barbarism likewise places that culture within the ranks of humanity's vastness. There is no superior or inferior culture. Just the culture of the commons with layers of detritus added on by the elite (such as feudalism, slavery and such like....religion is one good example.) Had the English landowning classes as well as the Islamic overlords not raided Africa for its free labour,. I suspect much of the anguish/anger/disgust we see on here would have been an academic point. |
