How old is your kitten? I hope they can save the cat...a few things people can do to extend the lives of their cats...

1. only use natural kitty litter....the stuff that clumps and has deodorizer gets stuck on their feet and they lick it off. Their tongues have barbs on them so things can't get out, have to be swallowed. The new fangled kitty litter turns into toxic cement in their digestive tracts ...very hard on the kidneys.

2. Try to limit the vaccinations, and never give a lot at once--better to spread them out.

3. Our healthiest cat stays outside most of the time--eats lots of small critters, and some fresh plants.

Pets are wonderful and cats have such interesting relationships with people. I had a cat when I was a kid who would sleep on my bed all day when I was sick to keep me company--
