God doesn't grant you wishes like that; he doesn't give you stuff out of the blue because it would defeat the purpose of life.

But He ALWAYS responds when you ask him to show the WAY to achieve what you want... in my experience at least.

Moral of the story: God doesn't give you stuff for free, but he gives you all the maps and all the answers.
