How is winning the lottery walking through a door?

Of all things it's perhaps one of the easiest ways to get money in terms of effort.

God showing the door and giving you the keys would be something like you inheriting land out of the blue, but it's wasteland and up to you to turn into something productive.

I undestand where you are coming from, but there is a difference between providing for what we need and making a person wealthy with money.

The OP didn't specify how much money the guy won. Could have been $100.00 or one million. Who knows, and who cares. I think alot of people are jealous of others gains. I'm happy for the guy.

Also, there is nothing wrong with being wealthy as long as it wasn't by dishonest means and greed.

After Job lost everything, God gave him back everything tenfold, he was very wealthy.

God provides all our needs, however God is not an ATM.

God has taught me that he wants me to love Him unconditionally, whether he blesses me or doesn't.

I think so many people have turned from God because they asked him for money and didn't receive it.

I blame the name it and claim it preachers for that.

My experience has been more like Lisa's...usually I get a God inspired idea to help me!

God can and will answer prayers as He sees fit.

Materialistic God.

I remember when I was about 11 or 12 there was a giant christmas stocking about 6 feet tall full of things in a drawing at a hardware store. I filled out ticket and wrote "thank you Jesus" on the back of the drawing ticket, and I did win...it was a very memorable moment

People are so confused nowadays.

God feeds and clothes you. How do you think that happens in today's world? Through a job. I agree, He is not about money. However, He knows in advance who can handle money and who can't. Years ago, before coming to God, I had received an annual bonus of $3k. Within a few days, an ice storm hit and damaged some big trees on my property. Total bill was around $2,900. The old me said "see, I can never keep any money!!" and I was so depressed. The new me now says "Aha! He KNEW I would need that money, so that I wouldn't go in the hole!"

He answers prayers all the time. Beautiful story.

Satan uses tricks to deceive. By having men who destroy in this world, some then claim God can't exist. Because, if there is suffering, "God can't be real". You really need to read His Word with the Spirit's help. God tells us that sometimes righteous people die in order to spare them from coming evil. It's all about your soul.

The latter provides money - and a lot of other things, you just have to ask politely.

The next stage for humans who understand what life is about, is to become a Guardian Angel.

It was Satan who actually hear him, because it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God and Satan know it.

Can your god create a rock so heavy that he can't lift it?

Maybe god doesn't like him and didn't want him to enter the kingdom of heaven so he decided to make it harder to do so!

If money is your god, you won't make it to heaven.

It does not mean that money is evil......but making money your god is evil.

Faith is as much Proof as you need.

NOT...

God, nor its "angels" actually do much in the way of providing humans physical goods for consumption...especially money in the way of LOTTERY. That would be the antithesis of everything that "God" would supposedly represent. Therefore...I don't trust the logic in which you CHOOSE to base your faith.

Apparently so.

Faith is an article of convenience. It explains to the Christian everything that they want to hear and believe about their faith, even when all evidence and mathematics contradicts their beliefs and findings. To them, that ONE Christian who won the lottery versus the millions that lost and continue to lose, is verification of a collective belief that God was the vehicle in which this would occur. So, even if there was only ONE Christian who had ever won the lottery in the history of mankind, it would be PROOF POSITIVE that this was the work of God and nothing else.
