Madonna defends ‘black Muslim’ comments


Apparently, the Queen of Pop was simply being ironic when she referred to President Barack Obama as a “black Muslim.”

Responding to the intense backlash, Madonna issued a statement on Tuesday through her spokeswoman saying, "I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim – though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is. And what if he were?

"The point I was making is that a good man is a good man, no matter who he prays to. I don't care what religion Obama is—nor should anyone else in America."

At a concert in Washington, DC Monday night, the Material Girl roused the crowd with a profanity-ridden speech about the President.



I say keep calling her publicist for more explanations and fan this flame for all it's worth. Let's get "Madonna" to explain the importance of abortion from a moral perspective, the urgency of just letting jihadists "Express Yourself" and anything else she's willing to say while the tape recorder is on. Heck, by next week, her picture will be on ads in swing states! :-)
