Some of us intend to spell it correctly because its a matter of maturity. Obviously there are VARYING levels of maturity as some people continue taking their education seriously, while others waste it daily.

At some point the dollar will finally be dumped by foreign investors. Then the US population will riot. The food stamp folks will rampage. The government will declare martial law. They will outlaw gold and begin confiscating food, guns, and gold.

IMO, $1800 is a critical support level, if/when it breaks through, there will be a huge spike.

However, I think this is all overblown. We live in a technologically advanced society compared to the 1930's. I can never see us going back to a gold standard.
