Ohio LOST Democrats this year from 2008. Republicans lost registered voters, too, but not by as much, and now have a 94,000 voter lead in that state.

Ohio now has a lot more independents than in 2008, and independents are heavily in the Romney camp.

and we don't like the idea of some chickenhawk who never served and dodged the draft thinking he has the "moral authority" to send other people's husbands and kids off to die for banks while he ramps up a police state at home that destroys freedom (among other things)

and it's grim for our kids and grandkids
from rights to the environment to the food available and the limiting of so many choices

if something doesn't dramatically change in a different direction we are dooming future generations

Here in NH I have gotten daily calls from the Obama people taking their polls...every day for the past week...and every time I tell them,

TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST. I MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE WHEN I VOTED FOR HIM AND I WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST.

They still call back the next day.

Wonder if they call this a positive for Obama on their polls. I am a woman too...could that explain why "Women For Obama" posts have appeared on my Facebook page. Every day I delete them and report them as spam and offensive and every day they are back.

Romney is attracting huge crowds according to reports and Obama is not. The polls are contrived to discourage potential Romney voters.

The surveys put Barack Obama ahead by 10 points in Ohio (53-43 percent), nine in Florida (53-44), and 12 in Pennsylvania (54-42). We can apply all sorts of disclaimers here about how any or all of the polls could be outliers, how Pennsylvania probably isn’t a swing state, or how focusing on individual state polls may not be the best way to understand the flow of the national race. But taken together, they represent the latest piece of evidence that Obama is the clear leader and offer some insight into how he’s built and maintained his advantage.

For instance, the poll finds the president opening a gigantic 25-point edge among women in Ohio, 60 to 35 percent. With men, Romney actually leads by eight. In Florida, Romney is up three with men but down 19 with women. (We’ll leave Pennsylvania out of this analysis, since it’s now widely assumed to be an Obama state – although it should be noted that the Romney campaign made plenty of noise earlier in the race about winning it.)

These are some of the most dramatic illustrations we’ve seen yet of the gender gap that Obama and his party have been trying to exploit all year. It also meshes with a national study that found that among those who said earlier this year that they planned to vote for Romney, women are twice as likely as men to have defected to Obama’s camp.
