He modified it to look like a 9mm. Threatened his class with it then pointed it at the cops who in turn shot him cuz they had no idea it was a pellet gun.

the bleeding hearts arent worried about details when it comes to making some authority figures look bad.

Think this is out of the ordinary? Walk up to a cop, pull out a modified pellet gun, and count the seconds before you die.

You dont know anything about the situation, and neither do I. Were their other kids in the bathroom? For all the cops knew, he had a gun and was a danger to everyone he came in contact with. They absolutely made the right decision to plug this little prick full of lead. You simply dont bring a gun to school, and if you do, you pay the price.

He was shot because he pointed a FIREARM (it was not known to be a pellet gun at the time) at POLICE. And he wasnt even killed. So stop your whining.

Yes he still had the gun. He was holding it to his neck threatening to kill himself. He then pointed at a cop who in turn shot him.

Sorry 62760, I am out of school, and even if I wasnt, I would have the common sense to not bring a gun to it. That kid should have just killed himself on his own time and saved everyone else the hassle.

This boy created the situation where he was shot and he did it on purpose. He didn't deserve to get shot and I don't think the cops wanted to shoot him but he forced the issue with the cops.
What some here are not taking into consideration is this boy was suicidal. He was trying to committ suicide by police.
Here's a bit of the news confernce held by police.

He didn't go hide in the bathroom and then get shot. He was shot, and then ran to the bathroom.

I've had one of these pellet guns for years, they really do look like a real gun. They're extremely week and spring-loaded. Cousins and I used to run around the backyard shooting eachother with 'em they can't even break skin. I doubt he coulda hurt himself shooting point blank in the neck. Maybe a bruise. Still he brought a freakin gun to school and pointed it at people and police. They shot him. What'd he expect?

Wether he has mental problems is something else, the police handled it how they're trained. Their training isn't perfect, but neither are humans. Point a gun at me when i'm carrying one and i'll shoot you first and sort out wether it's a real gun or not later.

What did we learn today kids? Don't put guns at cops, fake or real, because theirs are definately real.

The fact he pointed the gun at his own neck really tells me this kid may have been on drugs either prescribed or illegal. Drugs is what is ruining many kids.
