Limitless:
Fundamentally, this film is vapid. I mean there are zero notions of spirituality expressed. I like this film only because it mirrors my life in many uncanny ways. And for me, the moral is really how perilous this type of bargain can be. Anyone who thinks the main character could really get out from under the world's intelligence and power elite circles, to say nothing of the demonic realms, is a fool. This film is a poster for a lifestyle that will lead to certain doom, IMO.
I also wonder, if like the main character, I didn't rewire my brain a bit. :)
I have read that herb causes an increase in the number of synapsis and thus connections--causing a sense of short-term memory loss, but ultimately a more complex brain system
Not recommending substance use, especially now that I have quit them. Just considering aspects of this film and why I chose to watch it 2x.
