No, the next stronger quake will happens at a opposite area that happened the Okhotsk Sea in august (7.7). It will happens at the first 2 weeks of november, with something higher than 8.2.

I will admit - I am no means an "expert" on quakes at all! But, I will say that I think California is due for a big quake, and it's pretty hard to deny that EQ activity has seemed higher this year. I hope not - I hope we don't see a big EQ in California, or anywhere in the US, but it is bound to happen someday....

California has been extremely lucky.

I have noticed though there are a ton more of little quakes in that state today.

I left the SF bay area six years ago after living there for 24 years. I figured I made my money, no need to stick around for some serious mad max if a really bad one hits.

At some point, if you have enough money, it is a good idea to leave. They are due...

The Okhotsk quake gave a lot of kinectic energy to the Plate Tectonic. This accumulate energy will be released at a quake from an opposite area.

If you make a search at the earthquake data and take a look carefully at quake with high intensity and depth, you'll find quakes with high intensity (higher than the first) and low depth happening in 2 or 3 months after this first. And it always happens in a opposite area.

The pacific plate is revving up. I would also watch that buoy above australia, its showing the sea floor shifting massively, they are having continuous mag 5's over there, its getting ready to shear up!

He was only 6 1/2 weeks old here - first day home with us. He's about 3 inches longer now, and all around bigger, ears stay straight up now too, haha.

The prediction that is the most accurate quake call, is for a 7.5 somewhere in California followed by a 10 point with 9 point aftershocks. That will pretty well take down the state.

I live near Seattle Wa. On the other side of the Cascade Mountains the wild fires are buring half of our state.

I look for a BIG Quake near the Saettle are SOON. The Pacific plate will collide.
