Michigan~Police to dig for Jimmy Hoffa at Roseville home

I'm thinking this might be the 20th dig...hang it up and really does anyone care anymore??

I thought those things had some real zing to them!

how the guineas work is - they lure you to a location for your 'safety'. its standard mob procedure.

to no one travels 'easily' with a body in the car. generally the disposals within a short mile range of the hit.

The location of the house they will be digging tomorrow in Roseville is literally steps from the Roseville Police Department, both then and now. I can't imagine it would have been a convenient place for the mob to dispose of bodies.

I've always been partial to 'Jimmy in a drum'.....has a ring to it.

He's under the Renaissance Center, its foundation was being laid during the time he went missing. Either way he'll never be found.

I think he became fish food.

I don't know where Hoffa is but know who does and that would be Chucky OBrien who appeared with a broken arm the day after Hoffa disappeared.

Odd that.

Also I was in the home of the lawyer for Hoffa's jury tampering trial. Just a kid then but little pitchers have big ears and all that. Was interesting. Lawyer Harry Burke was later disbarred for helping Hoffa a bit too much.

I'd almost forgotten that scary bastard. The HBO doc on him is really good if you have the time to watch it. He was the go to guy for the mafia when they didn't want to just kill someone but really make a statement. He tied one guy up to a chair in a cave and set up a camera that filmed rats eating him alive so he could send the tape to the guys mob boss.

Thanks for posting this, it DOES look interesting. I watched about ten minutes of the first video, just enough to satisfy my curiosity about his upbringing. He REALLY hated his "loudmouth" dad!

That's true! It's maybe a 20 minute drive from the Machus Red Fox restaurant, which was on Telegraph rd. to that Roseville location.

Who was Jimmy Hoffa?

James Riddle Hoffa, the legendary but controversial labor leader, was president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1958-1971.

He was born in 1913 in Brazil, Ind. The third of four children, his father was a coal-mine driller who died when Hoffa was 7. His mother moved the family to Detroit in 1924, where she worked in a laundry and in auto plants.

Hoffa, a seventh-grade dropout, became a stocker at Frank & Cedar’s, a downtown Detroit department store. At age 16, he got a job at a Kroger warehouse at Fort and Green, unloading produce from rail cars for 32 cents an hour.

In 1931, at age 18, the feisty Hoffa organized a successful sit-down strike that got dock workers better pay. The next year, he became an organizer for the Teamsters and worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming president of Local 299 in Detroit.

Hoffa is buried in the foundation of the Ren Cen. (GM headquater building).

They go digging up people yards every couple years looking for him and never find even a clue.

There are some reports that indeed a body has been found at the home in question. Saw on FOX, that they are not saying it's Hoffa, but there has been a body found.

I just watched the 1st 15 mins of that interview. Holy crap! That guy is beyond creepy! 100% bonafide evil. Gonna watch the other parts now....thanks for posting!
