Pipelines blow up fairly regular and it has never before spread to pipelines everywhere.

Based on what I've read on all the threads I imagine an explosion that would destroy everything within 5 miles in every direction. If major pipelines are nearby a significant disruption may occur. The damaged local geology may have cascading failures of more gas leaks, more sinkholes, land collapse, etc.

I would be shocked if anybody 30 miles away was directly affected. Like I said though I won't call BS on this because we don't really know all the information, and likely even the engineers don't know.
