political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Nate Silver of the NYT pegs Obama at just under 80%.
It's still scary that Rmoney and his crew of neocons have about a 1 in 4 chance of getting in.

Would you think that Romney would still be a good candidate if it wasn't Obama his adversary?

No Romney is a terrible candidate. There is a difference between a candidate and a president though.

Obama is an excellent candidate but a terrible president. Romney is the opposite. Or at least we hope he is. Romney is not a good politician though.
Ayatollah Khomeini:
“Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world…. Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender to the enemy? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Koranic] verses and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

Hadn't thought of it exactly that way but you are totally correct about that!

In fact, being a good candidate/politician might actually be a big minus as those two things require a great deal of acting and possible deceit.

See Obama'soriginal campaign for examples of both those traits.
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Very astitute my friend. Unfortunately for us, the system has evolved into a sham where the person who gets elected is the one that can run for office the best, not the one that would do the best job ONCE he got into office!

And it is further complicated by the fact that only criminal sellouts are allowed into the game in the first place.

We are fucked, excuse my French!

It's gonna be a blowout, that's for sure. I'm thinking worse than John McCain in 2008. But that's what you get when out of the entire Republican Party, the best names they can come up with are Romney, Santorum, and crazy old farts like Ron Paul.

Romney will be put in because he's willing to play ball for the Zionists. Obama's usefulness has expired.

They were not all crazy. Huntsman seemed like a pretty rational individual, not to mention he was not a climate change or evolution denier. It's really too bad that the candidates starting appealing to the fringe elements of their base instead of taking a more moderate stance.

Says the guy who yesterday claimed all the RED states in the South were also for Obama!

Just because we are poor doesn't mean we are stupid. And that would be unlike some I can think of named Wonkish.

Here's a map by the states. Note the entire SOUTH is RED except for Florida which is now a tossup.

And NO, the RED does not mean communist as you claim but conservative/likely to vote GOP.

Educate yourself so you won't look so damned stupid.

[link to www.realclearpolitics.com]

Note the dates across the top of the map. Those are the past presidential elections when the entire South also went Republican almost exclusively in recent history.

And speaking of history, well, now there is a big fat clue as to why the Southern States are so poor. Hint: Over 100 years of repression for daring to try to leave this hellhole of a union. Also accounts for diminished population size as well. Waging war directed at civilians and scorched earth policies and Pittsburg Plus freight rates even in my lifetime--well, it's all there for the serious student of history but no so much for the liberal fools at large.

Oh, and it's the BLUE states that are liberal and for the communist as you seem totally confused about that.

Well it's true, so I think it's time for you to accept it and move on (my claims were also backed up with evidence).
