Well then those who say all came forth from Africa can say every nation out side Africa are all a bunch of immigrants.

If you are not a Native Australian, then Australia will never be your land. Nor will it ever be mine, as my ancestors are Scottish and Irish.

The difference is, since coming here in the early 1900's, my ancestors have always treated the Native Australians as the rightful owners and have always given them and treated them with the highest amounts of respect and dignity ever given to anyone - including our family members. My ancestors came here as guests and have always acted as guests - even though we were never invited here by the rightful owners in the first place.

Today, I myself have great association with many Native Australians living in rural communities through-out Australia. I've learned a great lot about their culture and the respect I have for them is infinite.

Just like my ancestors before me, I will always know my place and will teach my future children their rightful place, while living as guests in Australia, as should every other non-native person living in Australia.

I feel sorry for your kids. You are not getting it. If you are born in a country then you are native. Have respect for the aboriginals by all means, I do too, not the ones in the cities though. You will teach your kids to be second class citizens in their home. You are not normal

You are wrong. Everyone has a native home, Ireland and Scottland are mine. Even though my parents, grandparents and great grandparents were born here, they or I have no Native Australian blood therefore we will never be true and real Australians.

Non-native Australians were never invited here by the Natives. We are intruders.

One day I plan to buy some land in either Scottland or Ireland. Those places are my real and true homeland where I have a proper right to speak for and don't have to feel ashamed.

And if my future children do not have a Native Australian mother, then they will be second class citizens as I am of Australia and they will be brought up thoroughly knowing that truth.

Like I said earlier, Native Australians have a story or account of their creation. And it doesn't mention everything about them coming from somewhere else.

Maybe "native" is a wrong word for the original people then. Perhaps the word I'm looking for is indigenous or aboriginal. What I mean is though, people that can trace their ancestral roots and history all the way back for which ever country/continent/land/or whatever else.
