The KJV has serious deficiencies. The Gothic / Anglo Saxon bibles are closer to the source, especially the Gothic bible.

Only problem is that there is no good translation for it, so you have to learn Gothic.

I have studied this bible in the original Gothic language and there is so much that is different there. For one, the Hebrews "transmigrated" into Babylon willingly, they were not brought there as slaves. This information has been expunged from modern bibles without exception, as it destroys one of the cornerstones of the victim / redemption message that is the mainstay of the more modern versions.

I did all this in search of light and I'm not even a Christian. You lazy assed pukes who think you are Christians, and have only read the versions of the bible in your own native languages are just allowing the Catholic and Protestant sects that edited the bible to control your mind and faith.

Grow up. Religious beliefs have to be constantly moderated and changed to reflect the reliable research that is coming out regarding ancient texts.

This guy is not a Christian, he's just deluded. If he was a Christian he'd be interested in both the Hebrew religious history and the period during which the Christians became a separate religion. He's more interested in defending his gold and silver filled sculpture hall and their political and social rules.

Probably not flesh & blood aliens like the Sumerians & whoever else interfered for whatever reasons over our time, but life-forms with substance of energy, or even fully spiritual beings. Also keep in mind this claim that the Vatican has older copies of OT books than the Masoretic thus they are more reliable does not stand up in textual criticism. Older does not equal more reliable or better translation.

There can be 1000 copies of the original even scattered to many different countries who then make more copies, while the corrupted version lay unused to be discovered. It is older although unused due to corruption.

The fact we made such a jump in advancement (ape to human) is in itself enough to make you wonder if there was not some type of intervention. Well maybe not, could it not have been the right circumstance of elements and environment that spawned life and where the introduction of new elements and conditions caused mutation into a being that ultimately advanced to go on to create life elsewhere?

Remember, just like all ideals which people have Dems vs Reps, Christianity vs Islam, Israel vs Iran and numerous other examples. These things are created and manipulated to control the people and whom they serve.

It is about as silly as believing the world is flat or that we are the center of all things given that we do know there are billions if not trillions other other galaxies and an unknown number of systems in them that all have the ability to support life whether by our definition or another.

Thanks for the thread OP. Interesting. I would however suggest that in some way the original account of creation is accurate, although perhaps not on this planet, through the process of guided evolution.

It depicts the evolving species reaching a point of self awareness, leaving the natural environment behind and the individualization of an indwelling spirit versus something more akin to a group soul.

So it quite artfully, when view from a certain perspective, not to say that there aren't others equally as true, depicts the involution of spirits descent into matter, with an eventually return. There would appear to be many levels of understanding all of which hold some truth and perhaps that is the cause of much of the argueing we find in regards this subject, each once again thinking that they are in sole possesion of the only valid view point. sk
