A serviceman who died in Afghanistan yesterday was named tonight as Sergeant Jonathan Eric Kups of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).

Sergeant Kups, who was 38 and from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was an electronics technician, and was described by his commanding officer as 'a man of real substance'.

The MoD said earlier that the death of Sergeant Kups was not thought to be the result of hostile action, though an investigation into the circumstances was continuing.

His death at Camp Bastion, where Prince Harry is currently based, has raised speculation that the Sergeant may have committed suicide.

I'm betting Harry is alive and well. I don't think they could keep it a secret if he were killed. They aren't that skilled.

I give the "public" no credit on these matters but don't you think:

1) People would assume it was "sorta his fault" as he is a playboy-naked-wild guy type (so claims the MSM magazines when I get groceries) so it wouldn't be as shocking as his brother? and;

2) People would blame the Royal Family for sending him to Afghanistan for 10 days (for no good reason but what appeared as punishment for the pictures)?

You over credit the importance of any Royal to us Brits.

I think they killed him already, but by some unknown reason they are keeping it in secrecy. So in the next days the MSM will publish articles about deaths of British soldiers in Afghanistan and people of the royal social circle, until they finally announce his death of a ritualistic way.
