There are a lot of irrational, potentially violent and delusional people that traverse the internets. When someone disrupts the dillusion by showing factually that it isn't real, some people lash out because the delusion world is all they have. It becomes their friends, their social lives and their entire lives become encompassed by it. They often get to be the person they could never be in real life by gaining popularity and stature among the other "Believers" and often enough, even that perceived status is also not real. I find the whole cycle rather sad really...and I have seen it dozens if not hundreds of times and yes, there are some, although thankfully few, people out there who are so mentally unbalanced that they can and do lash out violently in real life.

Whatever you decide to do bro, we have your back.

Thread: It's not worth the death threats...
Yesterday I learned that death threats were being made against me on Flickr by a new user who
registered under the screen name "astromutmustdie." I've decided that enough is enough. As much
as I have enjoyed being here, as much as I have enjoyed debunking astronomical nonsense, and as
much as I have appreciated the friends I've found here, it's not worth the death threats, especially
when people I call friends are getting hit by it too.


Simply scabrous and defamatory.

What if Niburu was about to appear? For real?

Or an ET/UFO presence was going to make itself known?

Would Astromut stick around and say, yep, that's Niburu all right.

LOL, like hell he would.

So, if that were going to happen, what would he do?

Well, he could say someone threatened him, and that he was therefore leaving.

But how could he tell people in the know that this didn't really happen, that it was just a cover story because he had to get outta Dodge before The Event made a fool of him, and exposed his shill job?

Well, if he wanted to make that part of his message, he could make the threat totally lame, bordering on unbelievable.

But I'm sure none of that is going on, so forget it.

After all, if it was going on, then we'd be about to experience a planetary event so huge, that it couldn't be covered up anymore.
