I knew the zippo ebay ring wasn't the end of it, I was robbed of my medications on a flight into Boston 3 years ago. Contacting TSA, airlines or anyone else does pretty much nill in these cases. Have heard countless stories of various items being stolen and it seems to be getting worse rather than better. Only pack the cheap stuff, leave anything valuable at home if traveling or mail it to yourself at your destination.
