It does say he was mentally ill but that could just be a media twist to keep from showing just how heavy the prospect of Obama winning re-election is weighing on people. However, the story also says he's a very wealthy defense contractor...meaning he's one of the guys in a small military like group that works on government projects around the world. They're almost always armed, almost always into sensitive stuff. So...as a very diligent person in this thread has pointed out...how did he ever pass the background check to get into this line of work? They're VERY difficult to get into. And...how could he have passed the security clearance screening if he was known to be mentally ill? In addition, how could he have obtained the weaponry and licensing needed to carry the firepower he would need and the ability to pass a department of justice background?

His wife was in law enforcement and would've had considerable intel in the federal law enforcement field according to the story.

This story sounds very suspicious.
