i think maybe godwinson was neutral with both sides and was trying to perhaps bring them 2gether....and perhaps Godfroy didnt know this and had him killed?.....or perhaps godwinson was really with the merovingian side and Godfrey wanted 2 take him out. I seem to be able to link my moms side to the other side of the battle of hastings though so maybe now they have been brought 2gether over time?...i dunno something around this all seems fishy 2 me. I was just looking at this link how they talk about how the priority of scion and the knights templar worked 2gether but than broke apart.
