I don't know how they get to that point. We beggedour neice not to get an abortion-even taking her for an ultrasound so she could see the baby's heartbeat. I told her we would be there for her during the pregnancy, and arrange the adoption, all she had to do was sit home, eat, and watch TV for the next seven months. No go, she had to get back to her "life" (which wasn't substantially different from what I outlined above, only she was not pregnant)
Her main reason for termination-fear she would "get fat".
I do not know what people are thinking....
Of course, considering my brother put his daughter up for adoption and kept his two sons, I think the world has gone completely insane. I know my family has.
