"Rolling Blunder" history lesson on how G.Bush let North Korea get Nukes | |

"In the game of highway chicken, North Korea is the shrewd lunatic who very visibly throws his steering wheel out the window, forcing the other, more responsible driver to veer off the road". Funny that this could apply to Bush as well. Two lunatics with no steering abilities accelerating towards each other. |

The article clearly stresses how Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were (morally) unaffected by their peoples' starvation, and, especially, politically insulated. Schewd lunatics is a colorful word that summarizes it pretty well, imho. And I would guess that the same can't be said of the iranian regime. Their grasp on its population isn't nearly as "totalitarian" as it is with the north koreans. |

Their grasp on its population isn't nearly as "totalitarian" as it is with the north koreans. Iran had its Arab spring and they crushed any protesters exactly; in NK they don't even get to protest. I didn't mean to imply that Iran is the land of the free, just to put in perspective how they aren't as closed as the north koreans. |
