Armaggeddon just got real! Saving the world: The British astronaut training to destroy asteroids heading for Earth Now the hit 1998 film Armageddon is getting its own real-life treatment, with Nasa currently training British astronaut Timothy Peake, alongside three other astronauts, how to destroy any asteroid headed towards planet Earth. [ link to www.dailymail.co.uk] WTF....The British Astronaut is fucking 40 YEARS OLD and he is training NOW... and NASA are planning to land them on a Asteroid in 2025... So, that would make the astronaut 53 years old...ain't that a big old to be sending him up there to destroy or deflect a asteroid, I mean, what if he develops arthritis or some other ailing cripplement before then.... Don't make sense all this, unless, they are planning on landing them on a asteroid before then but don't want to tell us.....
