Duh? Loss of function?
Yeah, DEATH and AGING were inhibited because the daf-2 gene got damaged ! Hello? Anybody home?
There are cases of plants being bred or mutated into new species that can no longer reproduce with their parent species. That's as good a definition of evolution as I have ever known. Seen. Observed. Documented.
