I cried when my next door neighbor had her 200 yr old plus tree cut down because a tree had fallen due to a lightening strike somewhere else in the neighborhood.

It was a senseless killing

The tree was not diseased and there was no reason to kill it



The responses on this thread are interesting. It's about a 50/50 or 40/60 split between those who value life and those who only value their own lives or the lives of the people they have emotional attachments to.... which is really only another way of expressing their own selfish love.

I've often been suspect of how many actual humans truly remain in this realm.
