If a genius in 1920 scored @ 160 how do you reconcile that with scores in over 200 today??

There are many different types of I.Q. tests. Some only go up to 140. So if a person on this one particular test scores a 110, they are considered superior. Of which I did.

I took Mensa's test when I was 8 months pregnant. All through my pregnancy, my mother kept talking about how your brain goes foggy during pregnancy, and I kept saying, 'My mind is working fine, thank you!' :)

I got so exasperated with this debate, that I told her that to prove I was right, I would take Mensa's test. I did, and the result was that I had an IQ of 156. :)

Yes, it is hormonal, and over 25 years later, I'd have to agree with my mother, actually. You do feel a bit spaced out when pregnant!
What does it have to do with IQ? Nothing, directly; but it affects your ability to think quickly and logically, so tests like Mensa's, where you have to answer x questions in y minutes, are harder to do.
An analogy would be, does alcohol affect your IQ? No ....... but you wouldn't do too well in an exam if you were very drunk, would you?

My roommate's IQ is 186. Mine, obviously (just read my posts :p) is not.
