Th Republican party is full of Kooks,Racists and Wealthy Communists all of whom want America destroyed. The Republican party is defunct. It offers nothing to the people and is bought and sold by the 1%, everyone else is half retarded Honey Boo Boo's piing for a time that never existed or leeches trying to curry favor with the 1%. In this next election cycle Americans will see th slow motion crash that is the Republican party in Congress trying to espouse what they believe in which is a hatred of science and anything a rich guy commands them to do. After these next two years the entire Congress will be 100% democrat and Independent for the next 10 cycles as the Republican party breaks up. The dirty filthy tricks by Republicans in the Presidential election has completely delegitimized them. If Republicans succeed in stealing the 2012 election they won't have long to celebrate before Americans start to quit the Country without actually leaving. The anti war protests against the wars that the republicans will immediately start will completely decimate the fragile recovery and send America into a tailspin as millions refuse to be drafted. If republicans lose the 2012 election which looks most plausible they will be seen forever more as a bunch of clowns without honor or patriotism who tried to steal an election through voter suppression. The disrespect of the President, his Mother, his Father and the first Lady won't leave them looking heroic it will leave the Republican party as something to be ashamed to be associated with.

As long as we're oversimplifying: The big money Republicans have been manipulating conservative white Christians going back to the Southern Strategy where that demographic largely switched from democratic to republican. The problem now is that faction has too much control of the party and it's becoming a losing battle nationally both ideologically and demographically. There apparently are at least some republicans with some sense as none of the wingnuts won the nomination but now you have the sad spectacle of a moderate like Romney having to pretend to be a meat eating conservative to appease the loudest core of his GOP base. That's one of the reasons he's losing; he comes across as phony as a three dollar bill.
