This sounds like a mentally ill drunk guy was simply acting like a normal mentally ill drunk guy. ERs across the country get in busloads of them every Friday night, and somehow refrain from punching them all to bits.

If we lock up every mentally ill drunk for making "terroistic threats"...well, we will soon have these new mental instutions called "Jails".

The guy in the wheel chair attempted to assault the lady but the cop peacefully prevented that and then the guy unfortunately for him assaulted on the cop. Never ever put your hands on a cop or you will get what you just witnessed. Guaranteed, and rightfully so!

Everything the Cop did, with exception of the 2nd and 3rd punch was COMPLETELY within the training guidelines of Law Enforcement.

Look. You don't know me, but I am known in my circles. I actually really do weigh in on these matters in California.

The truth of the matter is that you cannot make a decision on ANY case, based on seconds or even minutes of video. The reality is that it takes all the statements, the training and background of the Officer and ALL the facts to render a decision.
