GMO Proposition 37, could in effect do the opposite we want it to, let me explain first before you 1 star
Ladies and gentleman, I just looked up something that completely threw me off. I understand everyone in the world should want PROP 37 to pass virtually lableing all GMO products. But, and i say but, when i looked at the percentage of GMO crops here in the United states, and how much corn and corn syrup is associated with the food and gas supply, all the foods that are currently gmo and forced to have labeling would in effect be a win for the people when others see what it does to their body right???? well, if that were to in effect happen, the food supply overnight would skyrocket in the commodities market creating a natural food shortage because the crops arent being bought. Please take a minute to think about what im saying. if they force the companies to label the existing crop for the year, and i effect we are coming into a winter season, we would have a severe food shortage from non bought existing gmo products that are keepin the economy afloat. This could in turn be what the globalist bankers want which is the exact opposite of what we thought prop 37 would have done. forgive my clarity here, but I think the negative effect on the market will sky rocket food prices and limit how much food is naturally out there already. the percentage of gmo crop out there is more than 69% of the U.s. food supply. when people see what it does to them they will reject it through this bill. So, what happens when there is no replacement food in exchange for the existing crop of the year. this could backfire on us everyone, monetarily. I'm 100% for the bill, but since monsanto and dupont have moveed so quickly over the past 3 years to wipe outthe other crops, it will force us to eat thisshit because prices will be to high on the other end of the bill. This could be the trigger to the food shortage and actually hurt us in the end through our pockets. Its ingenious on those ashole chemical companies parts. Please conscider that thought and respond....bump

I cant find anywhere the negative side effects in an article if the media would spin this in the opposite direction and make the fault be on the grocery stores. Could you imagine if they "magically" went to the side of the consumer for once intentionally to drive up commodities and tell people not to buy GMO's lol. People would freak!!! I think we need to concider this. screw inflation, it would take mere weeks if that were to happen. I do hear ya tho on the thinkin part lol, i hope people dont ignore this. I try t start thinking threads that are relevant. I do have a rep to protect here on glp.

well to loose my anon rep, why do you think they love geo engineering and fucking with our skies? they even have debates on hansard regarding it, but no one care to look.

the whole thing is a big con, and think our farmers need to consider giving the "back to eden" thing a shot. the guy in the vid does push the christian crap and uses his kids abit. but it does hav a very good idea.

ofcourse it all takes time though. and there never a good act. there good intentions but no good acts.

and just to complete the good old off topic rambling, darwin talked more about co operation than survival of the fittest.

i definately understand your point of view. I use FB and here to get ideas and articles out. Im not a radio host, but would love to do it up here in CT. I'm trying to get the CT senate, and congress to pass a bill banning GEo engineering out of CT airspace. its got the attention of a few reps here because i went to the state DEP and concluded elevated levels of certain elements in the soil over the past 20 years. its definately helping by submitting that evidence as those elements arent found naturally at the surface.good points tho

I would think it would have a split effect. Drive down the prices of GMO labeled foods, and drive up the price of non GMO foods. There would be a big gap between prices, kind of like there is right now in organic vs. non-organic. Unfortunately the poor will have to eat the GMO stuff, but it will actually be a boon for them as the prices will come down. So I don't think the prices going up for the good stuff is going to be the end of the world.

But I'll tell you what, if people keep eating that cancer causing crap, it really WILL be the end of the world for them. Know what I mean?

And hopefully, Monsanto will go out of business and it's officers arrested for decades of mass murder.

Interesting thoughts op but I think you are seriously over estimating te amount of people who actually give a shit about what they eat.

If it passes the worst that will happen is temporarily the companies that claim to be organic but use GMO's will lose business. This might drive up the costs of true organically grown products for a while but I dont see any doom coming from this.

The Truth has a natural trickle down effect and will not be acted upon fast enough by the buying public to create the stated backlash.

The Truth is long overdue.

Ok to look at all sides and report and weigh possibilities though.

I understand that. as "thinkers" here on GLP i thank you for your comments. to those of us who actually care, is this theory probable though? I feel it is. it ties directly into stocks. in my other thread on JP morgan and morgan stanely/ agenda 21, we are seeing this happen directly in Africa outside of the u.s. media. I'm just trying to introduce the thought that the controlled opposition could and reasonably is concidering here. am i correct in my statements of thought? please respond. v/rbump

Food should be labeled- we have a right to know. Good will come of it in the long run.

Perhaps Best Foods / Helman's will make non GMO mayo again :).
