Anonymous Coward User ID: 16932400 United Kingdom 09/30/2012 06:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wrong country, Turkey is not one of the crazy countries. They have somehow been able to maintain some sort of sanity in an insane part of the world. I've yet to meet anyone from Turkey I wouldn't want to call my friend. sorry mate, but i HAVE been there, and virtually everyone i met over there, from the airport security to the bus driver to the hotel workers HATE our guts with a passion, USA and UK. a week after i was there, a british family were blown up in a very similar bus to the one we were transported to and from the airport in, and during OUT transits, the bus driver made a couple of very suspicious stops out in the middle of nowhere, with just my family and another family on board. perhaps they took pity on us, i don't know, but I can tell you I will NEVER go back there. once we got to the airport for our trip home, getting off that bus, a young man came and asked us if we needed help with our bags. As i only had 2 bags, I said it was OK, i'd manage. He sat down on the floor, right there, in front of me, and started quoting verses from the KOran. me >>>> honestly, I couldn't wait to get out of there! |

Borian User ID: 1139038 United States 10/01/2012 01:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Turkey has a very modern version of Muslims. They are honestly relaxed and have a great sense of humor. Not quite as tolerant as we Americans are forced to be, but in all a woderful group of people. Yep, London has the rest of the armpit of Muslim faith. But I'm starting to think that is by design. The majority of the "Christians" could learn from Turkish hospitality. |
