So with the sun becoming hotter, which heats the earth more and more each year.. is it safe to say that the methane will create a barrier, that will not only keep the current heat of the earth in the atmosphere longer, but would also stop much of the further heating that would take place if the gas barrier wasn't there?

If so, this could actually save the earth from heating as quickly as it would without that barrier.

Did you read the evidence? Did you see the video on the amount of ice that has vanished? This isn't even up for debate anymore. We are literally at the precipice of disaster. Do you know how much methane is entering our atmosphere right now? That the methane from the Arctic permafrost is 100 times more powerful than carbon dioxide?

I'm trying to see where it mentioned 6 months,I think it has to do with measures needing to be taken before the next Arctic thaw time.
