Wow, that was a strong one for Texas! I'm originally from CA, so I have experienced my share of earthquakes. I think that was about a 4.7 - 4.9...a quick roll, a couple jolts, very intense and fast.

I'm right off of John Carpenter Fwy. University of Dallas in Irving. Felt it strong. Wasn't sure what it was though. My bros and i were like whaaaaaa????

I heard a loud unusual gust of wind acompanied by a strange sound not long ago It was weird. So an earthquake you say?

My dog is useless. She wasn't even acting weird beforehand.

Totally felt it! I live in Irving, off of 183 and MacArthur and as I was reading in bed, I felt the whole bed shake along with the wall behind the head board. I looked up and saw the floor lamp slightly shaking. This lasted for about 6 or 7 seconds. I went to check on my sleeping baby in the other room and stepped outside to see if it could've been anything else but all was calm. Then I came back to bed and felt another three second or so. Totally weird!!
