Awesome voice. But he mostly will not get famous. As sadly as it is, his physical appearance does not match nowadays stereotypes in the music industry.

I have been around the music industry most of my life and have marketed a few local bands.
Both of these kids are extremely gifted!
To those who say they don't look the part--well neither did MEATLOAF for his generation, and for that matter, his music style did not fit, Tell me WHO doesn't know WHO Meatloaf is!!

For that matter, Evanescence did not fit in the Music scene either...and look how far they went.

Sometimes we need a break from the MAINSTREAM!

To me though, the true point of it all is this--

She gave him confidence because she looked past his physical appearance and looked into his soul! He also gave her confidence because he should her that she had a beautiful soul. No matter where they go in life..they gave each other more then a vocal duet..but something deeper...most people will never accept that kind of depth in their lives!

Amongst the opera world he should do fine.

Fortunately, Opera has never conformed to stereotypes :)

The wife and I are ashamed that a child and a dog can be seen as more wonderful than Beauty and the Beast.

Isn't that the truth? I think we all learned something about the true Beauty and the Beast from these two kids. Although, Pudsey was amazingly cute and talented for a little dog, and I'm really glad he won for wee doggies everywhere who should be given a chance to love instead of be abused, Jonathan showed me just how far I have to go in eliminating surface judgements from my life.

Opera has its purpose, and it both these cases, it served a judicious helping of kick ass.

I don't care for all Opera. I'm very fond of Italian and Spanish productions even though I don't speak a lick of either language. I have tried and tried to like German Opera, which I should given that I speak the language, but I just...can't seem to find the romance in it.



My list of music is very eclectic and only omits certain rap groups and modern country stuff. Believe it or not, I'm a metal head. No kidding.

And as for metal, yeah metal is great. Rammstien has a single song I know not a word of, but the beat and the drive is where it's at.

Hard rock is where I reside. Early rock is my roots. I'll take Boston and a Foghat album to the grave.
