9,500-Year-Old City Found Under Water In India

Thats true of all civilisations. Everyone is sure they were first with this or that. Thats the nature of parochial man. As we globalise, we will extend our horizons in the quest for knowledge of our roots. One step at a time however...we have come far from the African Plains...which even now some barbarians have a problem swallowing.

Every now and then, a little bit of truth seems to leak out from the news media. Amazing.

lets face it history is NOT what we are told it is,one of my personal beliefs on this is we get a reset (pole shift,meteor impact or something else)every ????? thousand years that not only causes the land masses to alter drastically but also leaves most of the survivors withno recollection of who or what they are.then over the course of the next few millenia those who have some awareness of what existed previously re-indoctrinate the masses with new belief systems to control them,as time goes by some are made aware that their past was not what they were led to believe.then as all the world religions crumble we either destroy ourselves or some natural or supernatural disaster does it and we start over again.just my 2 cents worth

The civilization of Ancient Egypt occurred in a past so remote that today it seems mystical. The pyramids and other temples, with their hieroglyphics depicting a flourishing civilization, have a mysterious, almost magical appeal. It seems inconceivable that people of an advanced society could have walked those ancient streets.



Now, it was announced in January, a civilization has been uncovered that would have appeared just as ancient to the people who built the pyramids as the pyramids seem to us.

We know so little...

Do you notice the only thing that lasts through time is only what is built or carved on stone, what will we have that lasts 1000's of years that tell about us? we have nothing except sidewalks and pools.

Finds like this one always seem to move the bar quite a bit. Yet the mainstream never really wants to admitt it.

What I find interesting is that the tools to do this kind of stuff is not around the really old sites. On more recent sites they find the tools they had and used. On the really old ones they just are not there.
