I want to be like Christ but I hate people...anyone else?

Even Christ lost his temper to his human brothers and sisters, it wasn't a hateful approach, it was out of frustration to the ignorance and blatant disregard of others.

Love you and all others, and I agree I have many occasions where I wish I could push the ultimate wipe out button.

Jesus was the ultimate player-hater/instigator. 2000 years of war and persecution over one dude, and he still gets to be the good guy.

ask the Lord to change your heart and help you love. To be like Christ we must love. Jesus set the example. Think about this, Jesus even loved judas. he washed his feet...

I know what you mean but hate is a strong word. There are some really good people out there. Something that has helped me out a lot is just lowering my expectations of people

Love the people, hate the ignorance.

Hating ignorance, hating evil, is love.

What passes for love in this world, is the declarations of the ignorant.

The ignorant have taught other ignorant that love is pap. Then the ignorant manipulated the ignorant that believe love is pap. And the ignorant that teach that love is pap destroy their connection to love, and are lost in hate.

So don't be ignorant. You're looking at children who have been left on their own. You're looking at Lord of the Flies (read the book if you haven't yet, read it again if you have). Treating these ignorant, nasty children with real love will make them howl and hate you. It might even get you killed. And if you examine your feelings, that's what you'll find - that you are angry, because you are afraid. And you are afraid because if you treat people with real love, they won't love you back - they'll kill you.

Understand your anger - see the fear behind it. But also understand the hatred you receive for real love comes from children who need the shit kicked out of them, becaus they have gone insane with their own egos, and have lite the world on fire, and plunged their minds into filth, and howl that they alone will declare what love is, and what it isn't - and that it's only what makes them feel good, as they are.

In other words, they're shitheads. But they're shitheads because they're ignorant, not because they are intriniscally evil. Get that.

And be very, very careful. Becasue if they can - they'll kill you.

I find myself in a similar situation.

Hate the sin and not the sinner is the solution. "We've all sinned and come short of the Glory of God" is a good reminder that no matter how much we are offended at the disgusting behavior of the world, we've messed up, too.

Read the book of James, too.

Christ said it is easy to love those that love you; even evil people do this. Love your enemies but hate evil so much that your love for others will cause you to want to help them be free from it.

I pray all of the time to be slow to anger and remember we are all God's children-I get it, but the real challenge is to be satisfied in the state we are in and to love even those that hate us.

Hating that which is wicked is a wonderful thing but remember our fight is not with people in the physical realm but with the evil powers at work that we cannot see.

The High Ideal

I have often said to you everything depends, for man, on what interests him in life, what he wants, what his goal is and where he is going ... in a word, everything depends on what his Ideal is. Yes, it is the essential, for this Ideal works: it prepares the ground, digs the grooves, attracts the elements that correspond with its own, and repels those that are strangers or contrary to it. Everything in life is fashioned, modelled in such a way that even its form is according to our Ideal. If it is neither great nor noble but only material, gross, all that we do, feel and think is the expression of the mediocrity of our Ideal and we must not be surprised to find ourselves limited and unhappy.
Meditate on this question and you will understand the importance of cultivating, within you, the highest Ideal. It should not preoccupy your thoughts that this is going to be difficult to realize. You should be thinking only about making the Ideal perfect, sublime and divine. How long it takes to make it appear, or even whether you will ever be able to make it happen should not concern you. It is unimportant. Why be always looking for what is at hand and easy to obtain? Humans are like that: anything that is distant, difficult, inaccessible, they put aside.

A High Ideal is a living being powerful and real, with the means of bringing us everything we need for us to blossom out. It is because of not wanting to understand this Truth that man has always been deprived of the best, because he has chosen a tangible goal too close, too accessible, too easy to realize, thereby ruining his existence. Every ideal, whatever it is, has one magic virtue: it is linked to us and it shares with us some of its own quintessence. If it is a very High Ideal, it brings us ceaselessly all the best particles and currents. Since we formed it ourselves, since we think about it continually and love it, it is always there, ready to improve the conditions at any time ... and that is why one day we find ourselves in the midst of new conditions that this Ideal has prepared for us. But, we must love it to reach that point, we must think about it a lot, feed it and despite its heights and the distance that separates us, we must create it in our heart and soul.

From now on, you must learn to surpass yourselves, to'surmount everything else in order to form this Ideal, knowing that it is already a live being in the Divine World and, since, there are link between you, it is able to snatch you away from your difficulties, your grief and woe, your despair. It comes close to you and says, "Here I am, don't forget I'm here." And as soon as you contact it, you feel comforted and inspired. But, have we enough faith, enough knowledge and will, to form such an Ideal? No. We are lazy, we don't like effort, we are affected by appearances. Why? Because we are meant to suffer some more, that's all.

Those who have no High Ideal are condemned to work with crumbly materials in very uncertain conditions. Then they suffer and complain but whose fault is it? They failed to aim enough and were contented with shabby little unimportant things without realizing how ordinary ind unreliable the material was. According to the Law of Affinity, an ordinary ideal attracts dark elements with no resistance. They must go now and look higher, higher and higher, in Heaven, in the Light, in space, in the depths of their being, for the purest elements with which to form the matter of their physical and psychic being.

Most of the time, people imagine that since they are able to do what pleases them, and choose their activities, that their ideal is already realized. Then, why do so many people admit that tbey feel empty, void ... as though something were lacking? This isn't logical if they claim to have obtained everything they hoped for. The fact is, as long as they have no High Ideal, there will always be something lacking, for only the High Ideal can quench mans thirst and appetite; it penetrates him and fills him everywhere, bringing plenitude. I am not saying you shouldn't seek to do the kind of work you like. On the contrary, be what you want to be: doctor, lawyer, chemist, musician ... but realize that it will never bring you fulfillment. A job is necessary in order to live. All trades are good but to stop there and expect happiness and the fulfillment of all your dreams is impossible ... God did not endow them with that ability. He gave them certain possibilities but not absolute possibilities for the Soul and Spirit. To reach plenitude to that extent takes something more. A lot more.

So, have everything in life you think necessary but let your Ideal not be too low. Your Ideal should be so high that you cannot attain it ... then you know the truth: you know that even in thousands of years you will not be able to realize the Ideal but you love it, you can imagine it, you are linked closely to it, you talk to it. Because that Ideal is what holds you upright and keeps you from falling, it is what brings you all the joy of Heaven, transforming everything evil and able to make you, one day, into a Divinity.

Try to understand why people are the way they are and that they are victims that need help, not horrible people to disdain.

People are ignorant, hateful, lazy, simple-minded, illogical, rude, arrogant, sarcastic, depressed, depressing, gossip minded, and unable to think critically, reasonably, or with an open mind.

And most are completely unaware of their condition.

However, as a follower of Christ, you need to understand these are things done to them by Satan through this world that he has flooded with deception and constant distraction from what is important and what is true.

In Luke 13, Christ heals a crippled woman, and while doing so He remarks that she had been bound by Satan for eighteen years and would now be loosed from it. Satan was responsible for her condition, and this was a lesson to us that we need to remember.

Some people are physically crippled by the bonds of Satan, but other are intellectually, emotionally, mentally, and character crippled by Satan as well. Many people you see in your day who are completely clueless about the truth and can only manage to watch propaganda television and regurgitate what they are brainwashed with, are in fact under the bonds of Satan who has them trapped; their ONLY hope of escape and to awaken from their Satanic sleep is to turn to The Lord to heal them... however, it is impossible for them to do so because they do not know their condition!

It is your responsibility as a follower of Christ to bring them truth and the knowledge of Christ. It is your duty to remain patient when most of them laugh or scoff at your attempts to help them. Sadly, it is true that most are beyond help because the lack of faith in the Lord that allowed Satan to deceive them into their condition of stupidity and ignorance, is the same lack of faith that will not allow them to heed your words or accept your help.

All you can do is remember why they are the way they are, and not hate them because of it. If nothing else, have pity on them and be sad that they are blinded by Satan because they do not have the light of Christ in them to see the truth. Pray for them and encourage them if possible, but do not hate them because that is precisely what Satan wants you to do!

We are living in the last days, the world is flooded with deception and corruption of all kinds. The world of constant entertainment of sports, video games, cell phones, and television, has people under a constant mind-altering programming that they do not see and cannot break away from with out supernatural help; but they can only receive that help if they turn to the Lord and ask for it.

Do not hate them... understand them, pity them, love them, and if possible help them to see the truth.

That is the ultimate challenge while in our human state. Loving others especially those who hate you. We cannot do it alone. Let Jesus do the work as you let Him. It's hard... but with Jesus working through us it can happen. Christ love can shine through you to them. Jesus died for these people and we are not to think we are any better then anyone because we all have the same fate. Let Jesus take over and he will show you how he see's the world. You will see a fallen, hopeless, world which is not the way God intended it to be. All is a result of a seriously fallen world. God is sad and frustrated everyday but he is patient and full of grace.

Funny of how people always forget that when they criticize entertainment they are doing it with something which is way much more addictive; INTERNET!

yes the internet is bad; not as mind-altering or addictive as Satan's greatest weapon, television, but the internet is a rich source of deception and evil for those who are open to it.

Deep down do you really feel that you hate people or would it be more accurate to say that you hate their behavior? Do you think that the people that you dislike are acting in a manner that represents their true nature, or are they simply behaving in a manner that is a product of the outside world and the societal conditioning that they've been exposed to?

It may be helpful for you to explore the perspective that the behavior that you observe from individuals is not always a reflection of who they areally are inside or their true nature.

So Jesus, like all other great Masters of humanity and founders of religion, had a long road to travel before this spirit descended into him.
