I have $130.00 to last me 5 days. Anyone in a worse situation?

I may have to do that, don't want to but..
I did have alittle money but thanks to a bad financial advisor after my husband died, pulled a fast one on me- my loss was his gain. I found out how vulnerable I was as a new widow. This so called financial advisor was calling me at home asking me if my husband had left life insurance money for me to bring him, how sick.. I reported him but it didn't do any good.
But I have toughen up now..

130$ for 5 days? It's not that bad, I've been worse lol... Just don't eat out, take your bento to work and use the money just to buy milk, bread, and other daily products. Mostly you're gonna use your money for a little food, maybe bus/train/gas, but I think you're gonna make it. Good luck!

THANK YOU for your post. Stuff happens...sometimes you see it coming. I did. Been here on GLP for some years now and believe me this place has helped me grow up and realize that our present moment is just that...and temporary. Yes things may get worse...we will deal with it. Now, my silly but friendly Facebook page has been inundated with "Women For Obama" blogs that I do not subscribe to. I have been nice and asked them to stop posting on my page. Do they? Nope. So I posted that I would never make the mistake of voting for him again on their page. I suspect I will be suicided or heartattacked soon. HAHAHA

GLP has helped me keep my sanity and humor during these times and I am grateful for much. Thanks for listening.

The world economy is the worst that I have ever seen it.....and I have been around for awhile.

i've been in that situation since Aug...i lost 40 pounds because i only eat once a day just so i make sure that my kids have dinner.

My 23 year old daughter has a four year old and an 18 month old. Their father walked out on them for another woman and left them without any income at all. She lives in a tiny town where there are no jobs. He doesn't pay her child support. She only has $80 to her name and doesn't know what to do now. She doesn't know how she will pay her bills. She can apply for food stamps but if they shut off her utilities, she's in trouble....
