There are two interesting things.

The big ass planet to the right of the sun on several of the frames I mention AND the small star like objects above the station on this same set of frames.

Just curious that's all.

The thing to the right could be a sun dog. Often, in the arctic and antartic regions, you will see reflections of the sun on either side of it.

the "planet" looks like it is lit on the right side.... could it be illuminated by a nearby star or SECOND SUN?

perhaps the illumination on the right side of the "planet" is caused by the bright object that you mentioned that is just above the station

If it is indeed a lens flair, would it not show up at the same time the sun sets or rises?

If someone else can post pics, I will PM the links where I have put arrows to highlight.

These have showed up from time to time in the past from this webcam. Maybe lens flare but across so many images 10 to 20 min apart?
