Perhaps the film was created to show/remind people of what is possible.

Remember how long the 4 minute mile held ? or how long it took people to run 100m under 10seconds ???

Once the barrier was broken....it has become a common factor,..that we hardly notice it anymore.

Same with the film..it open up people consicouness as to what is possible. It will triger certain "memories" in the cells of individuals
