So what? the guy cries for a minute or two..is that considered remorse or just upset he got caught and then someone was half ass nice to him. That person can forgive him all they want, but last I checked they are not God..and well I dont think that a few tears can bring back all these people who did nothing to deserve to be killed by this sick pervert man. |

The mortal shell remembers the deeds and can react to the pain felt. Too bad the entity/ies feed on that pain and come right back to the mortal shell to feed on that pain/emotion and the cycle starts all over. Only death of the mortal shell will free him from it. The entities that feed on pain and suffering are then feeding on those who are suffering for what happened to the victims families and friends. The one who will not be a good, lasting meal for the entities are the ones who forgive and forget (as much as possible) and do not keep the feeding cycle going. Like a hungry animal, when not fed new pain, will seek it elsewhere. |

I wonder how long it took him to get to that point - probably many, many years. It is hard for me to think that the father felt like that soon after the murder. He's probably been through hell and back to get to that point. I just can't imagine otherwise. I don't think I will or could ever get there. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 14967850 United States 10/01/2012 11:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was moved by this. Not because the serial killer broke down. I don't care if they are crocodile tears or not. But I was moved by the strength of the man who was able to forgive and not spend the rest of his days living with hatred. I can't stand when people make me feel hatred inside of me. I hate them for making me FEEL angry, not even necessarily for what they have done, if that makes sense. That this man was able to break free of the chains that the murderer put on him... that is why I gave 5*. I don't know if I could be that man. I'd probably be one of those calling him vile names. But I strive to be the man who forgives. What a different world we'd live in if more people could forgive. Quoting: Gratia Plena ^ THIS. To me, the video is less about the crocodile tears and more about the strength of this man to stand up and FORGIVE a man who killed his daughter among with dozens of other women. |

There are some things that people do to others that I just don't have it in me to forgive. When my sister was 10 years old, her best friend was kidnapped, raped and murdered by a serial child killer. The impact her death had on her family and on ours has never healed, even 30 years later. People like that don't deserve to live. Jesus has the ability to forgive people like that, and there are those who also have that ability, but I'm not one of them. SweetLilTT |

Goes back to his mom and bad parenting (apparently) she always probably mocked him and abused him physically, emotionally, and mentally "why cant you be like this", "why are you so stupid" ect ect.
