I was moved by this. Not because the serial killer broke down. I don't care if they are crocodile tears or not. But I was moved by the strength of the man who was able to forgive and not spend the rest of his days living with hatred. I can't stand when people make me feel hatred inside of me. I hate them for making me FEEL angry, not even necessarily for what they have done, if that makes sense. That this man was able to break free of the chains that the murderer put on him... that is why I gave 5*. I don't know if I could be that man. I'd probably be one of those calling him vile names. But I strive to be the man who forgives. What a different world we'd live in if more people could forgive.
